"The king of wines, the wine of kings". An incredibly sweet and luscious Aszu made by the incredible Erzsebet Pince with grapes from the finest vineyard in Tokaji - Kiraly dulo. Only the perfectly boytritised berries are hand picked to make this wine. The wine is focused and precise, a great representative of the 2017 vintage. It has notes of peach, pineapple, honey, candied lemon, a little bit of a jammy character as well with peach jam. Excellent aging potential
Only the perfectly boytritised berries are hand picked off the bunches to make this incredible dessert wine. Flavours of candied peel, oranges, ginger. High acidity that balances out the high residual sugar and an endless finish. This wine would easily keep for 25+ years, but is already drinking beautifully now.
Goes well with blue cheese, foie gras, sticky toffee pudding, chocolate mousse (especially ones with a bit of orange liqueur).

A lovely everyday luxury sparkling wine made from Furmint. Akos (the winemaker) is a wizard with the furmint grape, and this is his sparkling expression of it. The bubbles are nice and gentle, it is a dry (brut) sparkling wine, with flavours of apples and the slight salinity associated with furmint. This has been made in the champagne method, and has spent time aging in the bottle getting ready for you to drink and enjoy!
Comparable to a mid-range blanc de blanc Champagne
Only 800 bottles of this beautifully made wine by Erzsebet Pince from a historic grand cru were produced. 85% Furmint and 15% Kabar, the wine was partly fermented in Hungarian oak, and then then further aged in Hungarian oak for 7 months. Primary characteristics of pineapple (typical to this terroir), and strong salinity. There is a toastiness and gentle spice from the oak, and the wine has an endless finish. Amazing with Chinese and SE Asian food.
Comparable to a Cote D'Or burgundy
This is an incredible 100% furmint from Erzsebet Pince's premium parcel - Kiraly Dulo (historical grand cru) and only 1000 bottles were made. It is a mouth-watering fuller bodied wine, with flavours of white peach and ginger, and a strong saline minerality typical of Kiraly. Its slight waxiness complements the steely lean core, and makes the finish last forever. This has been fermented in French oak, and aged in Hungarian oak. Amazing with Chinese food.
Comparable to a Puligny-Montrachet
This is one of 380 bottles produced by Elizabet, and she has put so much love and care into making it - from biodynamically farmed Rubin grapes from ancient vines, to wild fermentation with minimal intervention, and finally to the hand bottling and labelling. Rubin is a Bulgarian grape formed as a cross between Nebbiolo and Syrah, and you get the best of both in this wine. Black cherries and pepper, with a distinct gentle aroma of roses. It is untamed, wild and natural.
An elegant, fruit-forward wine with flavours of black and red cherry, blackberry, violets, and a hint of pepper. Its extended time in oak adds notes of cloves, chocolate, and tobacco. With balanced acidity and tannins, it's versatile for food pairing. Enjoy it with a rich Indian curry, meat or veg stews (goulash!), grilled meats on the barbeque, or just sitting at home for a date night. Drinking beautifully now, but will also age well.
Comparable to a Cote d'Or burgundy
Christmas in a bottle! This rich, full bodied red wine is a blend of two indigenous Bulgarian grapes - Rubin and Mavrud. Elizabet of Bendida is an incredible wine maker, and she only makes 1700 bottles of this. A complex wine, with rich dark fruits and spiciness from the Rubin grape. An underlay of warm spices and chocolate from the oak and age. This is still a young wine, I'm sure it would age and mellow beautifully over the next 10+ years if you can wait.

Flavours of candied peel, oranges, ginger. High acidity balances out the high residual sugar. This wine could keep for 25+ years, but is already drinking beautifully.
