Bendida Rubin / Mavrud 2019

Bendida blends two proudly Bulgarian grapes here – Rubin and the deeply coloured, high-tannin Mavrud – for a fuller-bodied red with dark plum, blackberry and warm spice. From the Thracian Lowlands and made by a female-led winery, it's a striking match for grilled lamb, kebapche or mature cheese.
